And then it got real…

When your job takes you to Mexico, that’s the best kind of job, which is my kind of job.
Part-ay-in’, part-ay-in’ (yeah!)
Photographed at Dreams Los Cabos.
This was the best wedding to be my last wedding of the year. Friends getting married, so much love, so much laughter, so much dancing, so much fun.
Seriously, try and tell me my job isn’t the best. Go ‘head be gone with it.
That’s a wrap, people!

8 months and 2 days after the day they met, they got married. When you know, you know, you know?
I want to hang out with Alan and Megan again and then again and then some more. I also want Alan to build me a whale like the one he made below but I’d like it to be big enough for me to sail around the ocean on.
Darius (below) was photographed during their engagement session and I was happy to see him at the wedding. You can read Alan’s words about why he’s special on this post.
A little over a year ago I booked a wedding from a girl named Lindsay who was getting married in Athens to a boy named Beau. I was excited since all the people I’ve known from UGA have been awesome (even my LSU husband agrees). Then somehow Lindsay and I started chatting, you know, like middle school AIM type stuff. We finally met in person two months before the wedding which made our online friendship feel a lot less weird. We kept stalking each other on Facebook (I mean…I never stalked her on Facebook…), and I was so looking forward to meeting Beau and finding out what it was about them that is so contagious, even if it was just through photos that I saw while not stalking them on Facebook.
Beau and Lindsay are GOLD, there is no other way to describe them. I’m so happy to now call them friends who don’t have to pay me to be their friend anymore. If their partybooth images didn’t make it obvious how much fun their wedding was then this absurd amount of photos surely will. High fives to Jamie Clayton who dream teamed with me! Some of his images are mixed in. Ready, set, photoBOOM!
And then, with the perfect mix of Beau and Lindsay’s incredibly fun friends and the best band I’ve heard at a wedding, A Town A List…the dance party to end all dance parties. I was in a literal heaven.
The weekend of June 25th was another tough shift for me. I had to drive to the Texas hill country with my best friend, stay at her lake house, go out on the boat, move everything over to Horseshoe Bay Resort and attend wedding festivities for Daimon and Lauren (cousin of previously mentioned BFF), including, but not limited to, drinking gin and tonics on patios, laughing until I cried, and eating five course meals. I should get a new job.
For those wondering, I don’t charge extra for my moves.
