Sometimes you take photos and they become favorites within the 2 second preview your screen shows you. That happened when I took this photo of my friend Michael on Lake Rabun.
It sometimes feels like just a few years ago my best friend Allison and I were sneaking into our neighbors backyards, just a couple of 10 year old years playing intense games of hide and seek. It sometimes feels like just a year ago we were dominating college, four years as roommates, having the best time of my life partaking in unforgettable shenanigans. It sometimes feels like just a month ago when I cried my eyes out watching her walk down the aisle. It sometimes feels like just eleven days ago she had a baby, except this time, it really was eleven days ago.
Finn Blackburn is family to me and I had no idea how quickly I’d fall in love with this kid. Now it’s your turn.
Allison put so much work and awesome thought into Finn’s nursery! See her projects on her super design blog, ReCreate.
A little over a year ago I took photos of Chris and pregnant Allie of The Reason. Yesterday we took photos of Chris and Allie AND Hank being a cute family right after they took photos of us trying to be cute. Per usual, much fun was had with the Bartelski’s!
Chris got caught and we all liked it.
I can’t wait for my BFF Allison to bring Finn into the world around August 15th.

Jason and Pam got married on Saturday and you’re going to want to see it. Until then, here is Pam the Bride, taken back in December on a gloriously lit evening in Austin, Texas. Seriously stunning.
Check out her awesome make up artist, Nisa Nicole.
Coming soon.
One time I was selling a lens and Christine bought it, so technically we met via email. Then she was a second shooter at my best friend’s wedding. Then we met up once for burgers and whiskey in Atlanta. Then she came back to visit so I could take photos of her and laugh. A LOT. Then she spent the night and we laughed more, now making us more than internet friends.
I wish there was a way to find out how many inappropriate words were said during photo taking. Thanks for being so fun, Christine!
