Sessions full of laughter are the best kind. Also, Jacob and Sarah are wonderful.
And then the sun went to sleep.

Seven summers ago I met Pam on a bus headed to Colorado. We fell in love and began to make some of my favorite college memories driving around Austin jamming and laughing and loving life together. Aw!
Jason and Pam met four years ago at NASA employee training. [Insert all cheesy and inspirational sayings here about love and space and blasting off into the future] ….. Except don’t. Just look at Jason and Pam look at each and be all cute and stuff.
6 years after Carla gave Damian her phone number in a Kroger parking lot, we took these photos.
Carla and Damian are having a New Years Eve wedding because they’re the coolest. I’m so excited!
Also, head over to The Loveliest Day and see Tristan and Brittney‘s session featured today 🙂
Completely amazing engagement session in Dallas with a completely amazing couple.
It really doesn’t get more perfectly hot than this.
Boom #1
Boom #2
Thank you and goodnight.
For those who don’t know, Allison and I have been best friends for over 15 years. We grew up next door to each other, hated each other, loved each other, and lived together every year in college. She moved to Tennessee after school, I lived in Austin, I got married, she stood next to me as my maid of honor, and then I flew away and lived in Colorado. We were too far apart and I cried. A lot. Then, God blessed us in so many ways by moving us to Georgia, now only 4 hours from my best friend!
In case you missed the post a few months ago when Steven and Allison got engaged, I suggest checking that out before I overwhelm your eyeholes with all these photos.
Steven and Allison are amazing. You only have to spend about, oh, 10 seconds with them to know how madly in love with each other they are and how solid their relationship is. It’s been such a joy to be a part of it from day one. From the “I like him” part to the “we kissed!” phone call and everything in between and then some. This is definitely my first and maybe only engagement session where I will be the Matron of Honor in the wedding and I cannot wait to watch my best friend walk down the aisle on April 10th! So, without further ado, it’s photo time!! All of the photos were taken in or around beautiful Johnson City, Tennessee.
I am most likely going to get a huge print of this shot for my office because it is 100% the essence of Allison when she laughs! I LOVE IT!
We also might have hopped a fence to get into this orchard…
This photo needs to be published. It is SO HOT RIGHT NOW!!
Al and Stevie, I freakin’ love you two!
Cristina and I became friends through our love of floss. Before that, I thought she hated me. I’ll explain.
I might have dated Cristina’s ex boyfriend in high school. Because of that, I, a super ‘mature’ junior, thought Cristina, the super cool senior, hated me. Little did I know Cristina is not only super cool, but super sweet and amazing! About 2 years after this we both hopped on the same bus to head to Young Life’s Crooked Creek Ranch for a ski trip. Somehow the two of us ended up sitting next to each other. I think awkward small talk took place. But I know one thing did take place, a conversation about flossing, and how we both loved it. I whipped out my floss and the “I think she hates me” mindset was gone. We were now friends.
