Chris + Christie

December 28, 2010

If you don’t know me personally then you may not know that Christie is one of my best friends.  We met on the first day of class Freshman year at North Texas.  Christie, along with my best friend from childhood, Allison, and I quickly became “The Tripod” and were inseparable in Denton, Texas.

Enter Chris.

Christie met Chris the weekend that we went to Johnson City, Tennessee to surprise Allison for her engagement.  Chris and Steven (now known as Allison’s husband) were best friends growing up, which makes the falling in love of Chris and Christie an exciting event for all parties involved!

So without further ado, Chris + Christie’s engagement session in Dallas, Texas.

Christie would ride a bike in heels.  This tandem bike is their wedding gift to each other, purchased just days after they got engaged.

I love you, dinky.

The good news is Pam is a super hot bride. The bad news you’ll have to wait until after April 23rd for the proof.
See Jason and Pam’s engagement session here if you haven’t yet!

The Flynn Wedding – Kingsport, TN

October 20, 2010

People who are wear their hearts on their sleeves and their emotions on their face are my favorite. So much excitement requires so many photos.

My favorite detail of the day was the bride/bridesmaid bouquets. The flowers were grown for the wedding party in a field at a wild flower farm. Then, the girls all made their own bouquets.

I had a big woman crush on this grandma. Both their grandparents were so amazing. I pray that Mark and I make it together sixty years, and if we are so blessed, I’ll be on the dance floor with him watching me (see her husband on the far left?)

The Fontenot Wedding – Fort Collins, CO

July 22, 2010

Michael and Taylor were Fontenot wedding number two of the summer, and number four in the last year and a half. It was an incredible long weekend in Ft. Collins, CO, full of breweries, rafting, playing and laughing, and it altogether made me fall deeper in love with my amazing in-laws. Taylor, you know how much I love you, and just how dang excited I am that you’re now a part of this family.

Enjoy lots of photos because Michael and Taylor are lots of fantastic.

The story behind these rings: Taylor’s setting is from her grandmother’s ring on her mom’s side and a diamond from earrings on her dad’s side. If you were wondering how awesome Taylor is all you need to know is that she made Michael’s ring out of an old 50 cent coin. 10-12 hours of hammering, smoothing, spooning, drilling, polishing and radness.

Usually I would think a veil flying in the wind is stupidly cheesy, but when it’s not planned and with these two and the location, it made for one of my favorite shots of the day.

This wedding needs a slideshow. Michael and Taylor’s processional was the best ever, timed perfectly to the rhythm of “Inní mér syngur vitleysingur” by Sigur Rós, making it the perfect song for the slideshow. Enjoy!!

Thanks to my brother in law John and Hailey Moore for your help, I would’ve passed out without it.
